SnoCo Gal’s North End Guide

Finding True Antique & Vintage Decor

There are a lot of vintage/old made new type shops in our county, and don’t get me wrong, I love them, but lately I’ve been craving old things for the sake of having old things, or for repurposing/painting them myself. That has meant having to become a bit of a picker, okay an aspiring one. I haven’t quite stumbled upon the places vintage shops go to find their goodies yet, like the so called “barn” Tina of Reclaimed Heart has referred to, but I’ve gotten pretty good at finding local shops that carry the next best thing. Whether it is antiques, kitchen pieces and gadgets, rusty odds and ends, or old furniture, there is lots to be found if you know where to loook. Here is my guide to some good places to get started on finding cool finds and projects of your own.
