Fall Across Snohomish County
A candle can be many things. A pretty decoration for your home, cover-up for not so pleasant odors, a relaxing addition to your bath, ambiance for a romantic dinner, and a light in a storm. But, did you know they can also be a source of healing as well?
With the right oils, compounds, and ingredients, and by that I mean all natural, a candle can be used for aromatherapy, a means of improving your psychological and physical well-being. Bottom line, they can make you feel better when you need it most, something the owner of Marysville based Vivid Experience Candles knows all to well.
You see, Paula’s journey to becoming the awesome candle maker that she is today, it began with the loss of a loved one and her use of aromatherapy to help her get through the grieving process. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to meet her, you know that she has come a long way since then.
She is a volunteer in her community, a bundle of positive energy, and full of spirit and love for what she does. Candles were a gift in her life, and now they are a gift that she shares with all of us. I for one couldn’t be happier that she has.
Woodland
Captures the unmistakable scent of a fresh cut pine bough and pine cone wreath.
Over six of her amazing candles can be found scattered across my home serving as my own little mini rainbow of aromatic goodness. My number is far less impressive than the over fifty colors and scents that Paula makes, I can’t resist stopping to smell one after another each time I run into her at an event, and still probably haven’t smelled them all.
Ranging from fruity to masculine and traditional and unique, there is something for everyone. My favorites, her Grapefruit Mangosteen and those bit more on the adult side, including the masculine Perfect and Cologne, and the unique and must have White Zinfandel (yep you read right, a wine scented candle).
Once you are done indulging in the scents, you will realize there is more to Vivid Experience candles than what meets the eye, and nose of course. They are one of the few pure 100% soy candles made locally. That means your candles will be cleaner burning, environmentally friendly, and last a lot longer than others.
