Some Like It Cold

Local Ice Cream & FroYo Options

I like many, couldn’t wait for the cold days to be over, but now that they are (for the most part, this is Washington after all), I would kill for something cold to beat the heat with.

Lucky for me, and all of you, Snohomish County has no shortage of local options. We even our very own ice cream maker! Whether you are a fan of traditional ice cream, gelato, or FroYo, there is something for everyone.

Best Local Places to Get Ice Cream/Gelato

Nothing beats traditional ice cream scooped and served on a waffle cone. Of course, I’m not opposed to it in a sundae either. P.S. If you ask for two flavors and the shop asked if you want them in one or two scoops, that means they are huge scoops (very good to know)!

Best Local Places to Get FroYo

While I’m not the biggest fan of FroYo, I have to admit that local options offering fresh, and especially local, toppings have definitely got my attention. My favorites, The Creamery in Marysville (their Horchata Froyo tastes like Chai) and Top it Yogurt Shoppe in Snohomish.
